There are hundreds of lip balms on the market at every price level. The problem with most balms is that they are based upon a limited number of ingredients, such as beeswax, that tend to evaporate away far too soon to be beneficial. A constant need to apply more balm during the day is costly and poor idea. Some people over-use lip balms and that habit only benefits the manufacturer.

  • Most other lip balms come in small, 0.15 oz tubes. Other lip balms come in a 0.25 (1/4 oz) oz tin. Both versions are often priced as much as $3.00 for a 0.15 oz tube or a pricey $3.99 per 1/4 oz tin.

Island Trend decided to find a better, more natural, organic way to craft a superior lip moisturizer. We added the best natural skin and lip moisturizers on the planet -Tamanu and Acai Oil - along with other vegan oils and waxes plus a natural peppermint flavor and a natural sunscreen. Our Lip Moisturizer lasts much longer on your lips and benefits your lips in a natural way. Last year, Dr. Oz praised Tamanu
Oil as a great skin-care aid. We agree.

We fill our tins with 0.50 (1/2 oz) of Lip Moisturizer- twice as much as in some competitive balm tins. This means that our price per ounce is lower than that of most competitors.

If you are exposed to dry weather over many hours, you may want to apply another light coating. Keep it in a cool place as all lip balms tend to melt to liquid in higher temperatures.
